  • LUCKLY, Ford only primarily used about 4 Alternators, and 3 of the 4 used the same wiring from the voltage regulator to the alternator.
    I'll post them all as I get time.

  • The Ford 'Square Ear' Alternator,
    This alternator is the most commonly used on passenger cars and light trucks.
    Easily identifiable by 'Square Ear' mounting lug on the case with the threaded hole.
    Here is a diagram for that alternator. DO NOT OMIT THE 10 GA. GROUND WIRE!.
